Valentine’s Day has come and gone, but this week of love has me thinking about our wedding a few years ago. I’ve chosen a few of our favorite moments along with some pictures of our DIY projects for the wedding. All of the beautiful photos are courtesy of the very talented Krista Moll.
We used Fresh.Local.Good Catering and they provided the mismatched china which I absolutely loved. They definitely understood where we were going with our theme and everything looked seamless. For favors, we wrapped individual succulents in burlap and tied with twine. We did a hand stamped/hand written note on each tag.
Our wedding was in June so we cooled off with watermelon pops during the cocktail hour.
We made our pups part of the big day and they came down the aisle with the flower girls. The venue, The Gardens at Grey Gables in Summerfield, NC was so gorgeous that we didn’t have to spend much for floral. I assembled my own bouquet and centerpieces for the reception using fresh flowers from Whole Foods.
Thanks for taking a look back with me! Happy Valentine’s Day a few days late to all the love birds out there!
